Hey everyone! I’m Nina, currently I live in snohomish but I was in fact born on another continent, Europe, to be more specific. And if you really want details, Austria. This means I speak German as well as English fluently. Also, no I do not mean, Australia. Fun Fact: Austria is so small that it would fit into Australia about 90 times!
Besides being Austrian I am also a CLA (Culture, Literature and the arts) major, with minors in GWSS (Gender, Women and Sexuality Studies) as well as VMA (Visual and Media Arts). On Campus you will often find me doing research on topics such as Art and Culture. In the past I have been involved in undergraduate research with Professor Deborah Caplow (who is a great resource for anyone interested in art history!). In Fact my experience as an independent researcher went so well that I am looking forward to not only my next research project (next fall) but also hopefully a career as a College Professor and Researcher.
Although it might seem like it I do not live on the UWB campus. So Outside of campus you will most likely find me drawing, in the pool(or ocean, granted it is warm enough), the gym, the trails or the dance floor! I am an avid freediver and pride myself in a personal three-minute breath hold record. Next to swimming and diving my favourite thing is to swing dance, century ballroom is my second home. I am also an artist and love to paint abstract portraits.
Thank you for paying attention to, and reading about me. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
