Online certificate for cyber study

To increase access to the graduate certificate program in software design and development, UW Bothell will also offer it online, starting fall quarter 2018. The goal is to help move more interested people into the cybersecurity workforce. More about cybersecurity.

The Half-Marathon: What It Takes Run 13.1 Miles, which includes lessons in business, health and goal-setting, is an example of UW Bothell’s Discovery Core seminars that help first year and pre-major students transition to the University. Read the story.

A serendipitous meeting between School of Business lecturer Richard Geasey and the mother of a fallen Marine has helped a small non-profit gain visibility. Laurie Finlayson started LionHeart to advocate for electrocardiogram screening for military enlistees. Her son David died during a training run. Read the story.
